Tonya S. Schroeder has been an employee of Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home her whole life.  A daughter of Larry G. Sanders and Alice S. Wheeler, she started her career picking up rocks and washing cars in the morning so she could go to the swimming pool in the afternoon.  Many years later, she graduated with her Bachelor of Arts from Western Kentucky University and began her career at Alexander & Royalty in June of 1991.  She is also a 1994 graduate of Mid-America College of Funeral Service and became a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer that same year.

Tonya is married to Gary J. Schroeder and they have three children: Taylor Schroeder (Bradley) Selby and twin sons: Mason Freeman Schroeder and Matt Alexander Schroeder.  

She just recently became a TeeTee to her granddaughter Baylor Paige Selby.

When Tonya is not serving the families of Mercer County, she enjoys traveling to Texas to see her daughter and granddaughter, reading, crafting, and enjoying time with her family and friends.  She attends Harrodsburg Christian Church and participates in their Ladies in New Christian Spring (LINCS) group and preparing and planning meals for the Wise and Wonderful group.

Lee Sanders began his career with Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home in September of 1992.  He is a Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer and a Certified Preplanning Consultant.  Lee graduated from Western Kentucky University and Mid-America College of Funeral Service.  He is the husband of DeeDee Divine Sanders and the father of Ryan Sanders and Jacob Sanders.

Larry Sanders joined the staff of Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home in 1968.  He attended the University of Kentucky and graduated from Kentucky School of Mortuary Science.  Larry is a licensed funeral director and embalmer, cremation specialist, and a member of the Academy of Certified Funeral Service Professionals.

Larry is a past president of the Funeral Directors Association of Kentucky and a former Policy Board Member of the National Funeral Directors Association. He served thirteen years as Mercer County Coroner and past president of the Harrodsburg Kiwanis Club. Larry is a member of The Carpenters Christian Church and a founding member of the musical group "Larry Sanders and Borderline Band", which has been bringing family entertainment to several states since 1999. Larry and his wife Jo have five children and thirteen grandchildren. When he is not working or performing music he can be found visiting antique malls and car shows.
